Vintage tin by the Belgian cookie manufacturer 'De Beukelaer'. 

A vintage tin with a nice apearance made by 'De Beukelaer'. This tin is in a lovely vintage condition. It's a 'four seasons' tin. On all sides of this tin are pictures of the seasons winter, spring, summer and atumn. This tin has a roof shaped tin and stands on four emicircular feet.  

Around 1885 'De Beukelaer' started the production of cookies. The scent of this industrial bakery, nearby the Central Station, was for train travelers De geur van deze industriële bakkerij, vlakbij het Centraal Station, was voor treinreizigers een pleasant introduction to 'cake city' Antwerp. Edward Jacobus De Beukelaer produced next to cookies also chocolate bars. The factory moved in 1963 to the city of Herentals. 

De Beukelaer merged in the '60s from De Beukelaer to General Biscuits and became later a part of the French Lu-group. Today the cookie manuyfacturer is a part of Mondelez International.
