DRU (Holland) Confetti Pan.  Enamel ware. 

Vintage cookware from the 50s. Fabulous DRU confetti pan. Clean on the inside. 

Nice item for the rural kitchen or just for decoration. DRU pan, black with colored confetti dots. Yellow cover with black knob. Used but indestructible. 

As the advertisement says, "a pan .... but a feast on the table! 

  • Height: 16 cm. 
  • Diameter: 23,5 cm. (28 cm. met greep).

Made in The Netherlands by the legendary enamel and cast iron producers from DRU. The design of this Mid Century Modern Dish is considered so important that it's part of the permanent exhibition in the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam.

The Confetti enamel kitchenware is designed by Wim Gilles. Wim Gilles is along with Piet Zwart of the famous Bruynzeel Kitchens to be seen as the first Dutch industrial designers. He was half mid 20th century far ahead of its time and was a true trend watcher, he used techniques which only now with the rise of the computer are easily available.
