Cookie tin for Gingerbread with Loevestein castle

Tin for storing gingerbread with Dutch rivers "Maas" and "Waal" and the Loevestein castle. 

"De Bruin koek, honing in uw woning". 

Oblong, flat model tin cookie jar for storing gingerbread. This tin is fitted with a hinged lid. Painted on the cover (in color) images of the rivers Maas and Waal facing Loevestein castle. At the right side the town of Woudrichem.

Text on lid: "Where Maas and Waal flushes together" (translated). On both long sides the two rivers emerging and the Loevestein castle in the middle. On the short sides: a house with a beehive in it with the words: '' Honey in your house'  (translated). Near the house are bees displayed.

Shown at the bottom which can be read from the inside of the tin, the embossed text "the Bruin cake, honey in your home" (translated). 

Dates back to the fifties.
