Vintage Brabantia Gingerbread Tin

Vintage Brabantia Gingerbread Tin. 

Cream colored 50 years old metal gingerbread  tin made by Brabantia. With chrome handle and closure. Tin stands in narrow metal feet. This gingerbread tin has some traces of use, but regarding its age, this tin looks pretty good. This old gingerbread tin has what we would call 'character'.

This gingerbread tin is still complete with the original cutting board. Of course still fine to use.

Vintage with traces of use. A nice item for in a rural or retro kitchen.

To date, the Brabantia items from the 60s and 70s are still collected and are highly sought after by many fans of vintage. Both to be used and for decoration!

Brabantia is a company in the Dutch village of Aalst that manufactures metal and plastic household products.

Founded in 1919, the company had the name "Van Elderen & Co". After some time, the name has changed to "Van Elderen's Metaalwarenfabrieken Brabantia". Around 1941 the first part of the name has been omitted, and it is now only "Brabantia".

"Brabantia" is the Latin word for Brabant, a Dutch province.
