Jumbo had made toys and games for years when it came to market with something new in 1958. A modest series of six puzzles. Simple puzzles for the youngest, with only 50 pieces (1001-1006).

After a careful start with six puzzles, making them threefold by the then well-known English artist Lawson Wood, 12 new puzzles arrived at (1051-1056 and 2001-2006) a year later.
