Vintage orange Brabantia bread bin, 'Patrice'.

This is a vintage bread bin made by Brabantia decorated with the famous flower print known as 'Patrice' named after the designer Patrice van Uden. Both on the inside as well on the outside in a tidy vintage condition. 

Patrice van Uden's popular Patrice design was introduced by Brabantia in 1970. This design is recognizable by its brown and cyclamen-colored flowers on an orange background. The "flower element" was first cut out of paper and then assembled, after which a screen print was made in two colors for the "craft appearance" of the pattern. The design became one of the most popular Brabantia designs ever. It is still used in many Dutch households and several designs are still regularly offered in our webshop. 

This bread bin can simply be used as a stand-alone, but it is also suitable for wall mounting. Suspension holes are provided at the back. Very handy to keep your bread fresh and a real eye-catcher in your 'retro' kitchen.

In the seventies, it became a real hype to collect these Brabantia household items; pans, pedal bins, bread bins, coffee, tea and sugar tins etcetera ...
