Vintage 'Uiltje' Mona, round cigars tin. 

The famous "Uiltje" (Owl). Nice and lovely old round cigars tin in a vintyage condition. Overall this tin has a green background. On the lid and tin is a brown with beige image of an Owl against the background of a full corn moon. At the left the text 'Uiltje' (Owl) and the escutcheon of the city of Kampen,underneath the name Mona. 

Uiltje was a Dutch brand of sigars and was produced till 1968 by the La Bolsa factory in Kampen and then for some years by British American Tobacco, who replaced the production from Kampen to Scotland. 

Text on tin: '25 sigaren Made in Holland. n/v Sigarenfabriek "La Bolsa" Kampen. This can or tin stands on three semicircular feet.
