SKU: 300Vintage tin 'Amsterdamsche Koggetjes'.
The tasty koggetje is now available everywhere, but that hasn't always been the case. "The Dutch Confectioners Association started in 1935, a competition for a real Amsterdam cookie. The winner invented the Amsterdam Koggetje (these are a type of cookies that resemble ginger snaps). The cookie is named after the 'Koggen' (medieval merchant ships), which also occur in the oldest coat of arms of Amsterdam.
