Vintage Brabantia laundry basket from the '60s

Metal laundry basket made by Brabantia. 

Vintage laundry basket from the sixties. This lovely and original cream coated metal laundry basket is made by the extremely solid Dutch brand "Brabantia". 

The wooden lid is covered with red vinyl and has a black plastic rim. The laundry basket is in a reasonable good condition with some minimal traces of use. This sturdy tough laundry basket can serve as a storage unit and is also suitable as a crutch. 

The lid has two hinges and the original Brabantia sticker is still in place: "Brabantia HOME Steel". Equipped with two metal handles on the sides, making it very easy to move.

This laundry basket has vents at the rear. At the bottom side it is covered with a strip of red vinyl and two black plastic bumpers. A 'must-have' for every retro kitchen or bathroom!

To date, the Brabantia items from the 60s and 70s are still collected and are highly sought after by many vintage lovers. Not only for use, but also as home decoration.
