Complete series vintage tins "De Ruijter". 

At the end of 1974 the company decided to hook in to the desire for nostalgia and longing for the "good old days". It was a great success. These tins flew out of the shops, partly because many people were seized by the old tin collecting fever.

Now in one go for sale. The complete set of the widely sought and highly sought after series of cans of the Ruijter.

This set consists of the six following tins:

• De Ruijter Chocolade Hagel Puur. 
• De Ruijter Chocolade Hagel Melk. 
• De Ruijter Gestampte Muisjes. 
• De Ruijter Rose & Witte Muisjes. 
• De Ruijter Chocolade Vlokken Puur. 
• De Ruijter Chocolade Vlokken Melk. 

Tins are decorated with various images of the four seasons.

The foundation of De Ruijter was laid in 1860 in a former farm on the Brinkstraat in Baarn. There, the 24-year-old Cornelis Rutgerus De Ruijter started a pastry shop.

C.R. De Ruijter opens confectionery in the Brinkstraat in Baarn in 1860 and starts the production and sale of birth mice. The foundation of De Ruijter was laid in 1860 in the front of a former farm on the Brinkstraat in Baarn. There, the 24-year-old Cornelis Rutgerus De Ruijter started a pastry shop after he learned from a leading Utrecht baker.

There he was initiated into the secrets of the preparation of "birth mice", aniseed seeds with a lot of sugar around it, resulting in small white and pink spheres. These were eaten at the birth of a child. The C.R. De Ruijter fell as good as the pastry and chocolates at the seated burgery. In addition, shortly afterward, a variant of birth mice was created when some elderly ladies who found the soured anise seeds hard for their teeth, made him think the mice were nice when mashed.

Thus, the famous Mashed Mice (Mashed Aniseed candy) arose.
