A.J.P.
The Letters AJP stand for the initials of Abraham Josef Polak from Groningen. Abraham Josef Polak begins in 1899 on the basis of an English invention with the production of pudding powder. With this powder, by adding milk, a delicious pudding can be made easily and quickly. In 1903, Polak moved into a building on the Hereweg in Groningen to further expand the manufacture of pudding powder. The pudding comes on the market under the name A.J.P. Abraham takes his sons, Moritz and Eduard, into the company and they continue his work after the death of Abraham Polak in 1924.

Until 1975 the pudding factory belongs to the coffee and tea department of tobacco manufacturer Niemeyer.
