This large vintage red Hacks tin from the sixties is a great eye-catcher and does well in combination with other retro home accessories.

Vintage shop tin for Hacks medicinal cough chocolates. This is the original tin as it was always used at the grocery or drug store.

Description
This vintage tin drum for Hack cough candy sweets has a rectangular rounded oval shape with a screw cap. The decoration of this tin consists of a red background with an image of a coughing bald man with a handkerchief at the front and back. On the sides are images of the original contents, namely sweets in plastic wraps. This tin has a gold-colored sloping hood with a black screw cap.

Text on tin: HACKS 5 lbs net weight including immediate wrappings HACKS. Sole manufacturers WHITE HUDSON & Co Ltd. SOUTHPORT England. At the bottom it says 'Not Charged'.

This tin is in a nice vintage condition.
