Slingerkoek
On January 21, 1921, Albert Aldenhuijssen and Jan van Oers set up a cake factory in Uden. This factory is given the name 'de Slinger-honing'.
In 1924 the first kneading machine was purchased. In 1925 the name was officially changed to 'Koekfabriek de Slinger'.
Quality, including the golden-yellow cake color, was the hallmark of the slinger cake. It became a well-known delicacy in the Dutch province of Brabant.
