Description
Nice set of three vintage tins by "Bolletje". The zwieback tins have a loose lid, while the biscuit tin has an inset lid. All tins have a creamy surface with a red diamond and the famous little baker. On the underside, the tins have a small piping with a decorative edge. Comic artist Marten Toonder has designed the logo of Bolletje, the smiling baker with a biscuit in his hand.

Condition
These tins are in a neat vintage condition with some traces of use.

Bolletje history 
Gerardus Johannes ter Beek (1843-1933) started a bakery shop at the Grotestraat in Almelo at the end of 1867, in a building that his father Albertus Antonius (1802-1868), who was a bread merchant, had before him before his death. purchased. This company would be the start of a family business that would become known from the mid- 20th century under the name Bolletje.
