Bay Keramik
Eduard Bay founded Bay Keramik in Ransbach-Baumbach in 1933. From the 1950s to the early 1970s, Bay Keramik was one of the most successful ceramics companies. The decorations were usually feelable (embossed), often there were images with geometric patterns.

Bay always used white clay.
The vases are usually marked with 'BAY' at the bottom, but not always. At the bottom is usually a number of two or three digits (model number) followed by a space or dash and a number that indicates the height in centimeters. Bay designates the country of origin with 'W.-GERMANY'.

In the fifties and sixties, Bay used a label of foil in gold with a 'crown' and the imprint 'Bay Keramik hand-molded'. In the seventies and eighties, Bay used a rectangular sticker of paper with the text 'BAY KERAMIK'.
