Brocante is a term that everyone has heard of. Everyone has their own image with the concept of Brocante. It is originally a word derived from French, in which it has the meaning of bric-a-brac, rarities or second-hand goods. Literally translated, it even means flea market. Brocante also has an affinity with the English word Broker, which stands for 'pawnbroker, or seller of second-hand goods'. The word Brocante used in the Netherlands often stands for old objects that are not valuable or old enough to be able to go for real antiques (at least 100 years old).
