Description
Set of three vintage plastic storage canisters made by the West German company EMSA in the 70s. This set consists of two red and one orange canister and is equipped with a separate top cover. The lids have a round button with a flat top.

Beautiful items for the retro kitchen. Extremely suitable for storing coffee, sugar and tea.

On the underside marked with Emsa.

These plastic storage canisters are in a neat vintage condition with normal traces of use.

Emsa is an innovative medium-sized German manufacturer of household goods. Emsa was originally founded on April 1, 1949 by Franz Wulf as "Franz Wulf & Co Plasticwarenfabrik" in Greven.

A small drip catcher made of plastic and in the shape of a butterfly was the company's first item. After drip traps in various forms, the company started producing various kitchen accessories.

On October 1, 1956, the company from Greven moved to a larger building in Emsdetten and utensils for plants and flowers were added to the range.

Given their location in Emsdetten and the main river Ems, the name of the company was changed on December 29, 1964 to the contemporary "Emsa".

The EMSA logo was introduced in 1971.​
