Vintage green candy tin by Lonka.

Description
Old round candy tin made by Lonka for fudge. This tin is executed with a loose lid with a rolled edge. On the lid is the logo in the shape of a young red-haired lady with a red ribbon. Also in a red emblem with a yellow border the product name "Lonka".

The decoration of this tin consists of a dark green background with an ornament with yellow lines in square shapes. On the side of the tin again the logo in two parts that repeats itself several times. Text on the bottom: "Lonka ... another word for tasty (Dutch).

This tin has an embossed brand name on the bottom.

Condition
This Lonka tin is in a neat vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear.

Lonka comes from London Caramel Works. The first factory was opened in Breda (NL) in 1920; the second location followed in Essen (Belgium) a decade later.
