Description
Set of three beautiful vintage plastic storage canisters from the 1960s. These canisters are provided with screwing type lids. Both the lids and bottoms of these canisters are available in the colours red, yellow and green.

Furthermore, these canisters consist of a ribbed transparent window, so that the content is clearly visible. The red and green buses have bevelled corners. The yellow canister has a square shape. All three canisters have a round lid.

These canisters come from the well-known brand BK, whose logo is located on the underside of each canister.

Condition
This set of three plastic canisters is in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear.

Berk Kampen (later H. Berk and Son, N.V. Kamper Emaillefabrieken, NV Koninklijke Kamper Metaalwarenfabriek, Berk Beccon NV and BK Cookware) is a producer of metal kitchen utensils, in particular pans. It was founded in 1851 by Hendrik Berk in Kampen (Overijssel).

The BK brand was registered in 1893.

In 1951, when the company was 100 years old, the designation Royal was granted and the company name changed to NV Koninklijke Kamper Metaalwarenfabriek (Royal BK). The BK logo will feature a crown.

In the meantime, the company was increasingly confronted with competition from plastic alternatives, which particularly affected the enamel articles. In response to this, they decided to produce a few plastic items themselves.
