Description
Vintage tin with a rectangular shape and equipped with a hinged cover. On the lid of this tin is a child's head of a girl in an orange circle. Four red roses are depicted together in the corners. The whole is done in a romantic style. The lid has rounded edges.
The tin box itself is decorated with a gold-coloured background with details in anthracite. The tin has rounded corners with stylistic symbols. On the side, this tin shows a number of rosebuds. In a rectangular template is a wicker basket with the well-known plant in it the 'lily of the valley' or 'May bell'.
The short sides of the can show the text: "Biscuiterie Nantaise Nantes, P. Cosse. A. Lotz & Cie.
The tin is finished with various rolled edges.
Condition
This tin is in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear.

La Biscuiterie nantaise (BN) is a French industrial biscuit factory, typical of the city of Nantes, which produces biscuits, in particular the commercial brand "choco BN".
The biscuit factory of Nantes was founded in 1896 in Nantes, in the district around Place François-II on the island of La Prairie-au-Duc (northwest of the current island of Nantes), by a group of local traders.
