Vintage tin cylindrical tea canister with floral decoration.
High cylindrical tin canister with a separate lid. This tea tin has a creamy white background with floral decoration of the Indian cress in red and green. This is both on the front of the tin and on the lid. The lid is equipped with a rolled edge as well as the bottom of the tin. At the rear, there is a longitudinal seam.
The bus is decorated with the Dutch word for TEA in orange / red capital letters.
This tin is in an original vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear.

Tropaeolum majus (garden nasturtium, Indian cress, or monks cress) is a species of flowering plant in the family Tropaeolaceae, originating in the Andes from Bolivia north to Colombia.
