Rummikub is a tile-based game for 2 to 4 players, combining elements of the card game rummy and mahjong. 

Rummikub or Rummy is a party game developed in the Mandate area of ​​Palestine in the 1930s.

The game consists of a box with stones. The game has 106 tiles: two sets of numbers 1 to 13 in the colors red / yellow / blue / black, and two jokers. In the Netherlands it is marketed by Goliath. It is played with 2, 3 or 4 players. The game is all about being the first to put his cubes on the table by forming rows or sets.

Some variants have also appeared on the game, for example Word Rumikikub. One has to make words with letters. There is also a Junior version with fewer stones, a travel version with smaller stones and a version with extra large stones, the latter is especially popular with seniors.

One can also play with an agreed time limit. When the time is up and there are still incomplete sets on the table, everything must be returned as the turn started and the player must take three pieces from the pot. In older versions, the player had to pick up all loose tiles and also take three tiles from the pot.
