Curver Benelux BV known by the brand name Curver, is a Dutch manufacturer of plastic household items. The company's products are sold by retail chains in Europe and beyond. Curver started as a small family business in 1949 and became one of the pioneers in the use of plastics in the manufacture of products for everyday use. Brother-in-law Pierre Curtius and Ad Verschuren started producing tubular glass for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry in Tilburg in May 1949. The company was given the name Curver, a combination of the surnames of initiators. The company moved to nearby Rijen three years later.

From 1954, Curver made the end caps of their tubular glass out of plastic. At the time, many companies were still skeptical about the use of plastic.
