Description
Vintage tin with an elongated shape and equipped with a hinged lid. The decoration of this tin consists of a purple background with a carriage with a horse on the lid in a white oval. In the carriage are the famous soldier and lady, who appear on almost every Quality Street tin.

The sides of this tin are decorated with various old images of a horse and carriage with coachman. The lid has a white edge with gold details.

Condition
This candy tin is in a good vintage condition with traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Pictures are part of the description.

Quality Street is the brand name of a series of candies in the shape of bonbons.

Quality Street was created in 1936 by Mackintosh's firm and named after James Barrie's play of the same name, which was then filmed. Today, Quality Street is distributed by Nestlé.

Quality Street is available in round tin drums and rectangular cardboard boxes. The tins often feature an image of two characters from the play. The main colour is always purple.
