Square tin with hinged lid, “Baronie, chocolate”, multicoloured.

Description
A beautifully designed square tin in a beautiful vintage condition. The tin has rounded corners and a slightly raised lid with a small handle at the front. The tin is equipped with a hinged lid. On the lid we see a colour image of a 'native' woman sitting on a stone bench. To her left is a cocoa plant and in the foreground some low plants behind a potash. In the background is a dessa with a house, coconut trees and an ox cart.

The frame of the image is embossed and the lid edge has leaf motifs. The outside of the tin is finished with various gold-coloured curling motifs.

On the front the brand name "Baronie". At the back the place name "Schiedam". "BEKKERS DORDRECHT (Holland)". On both sides: "Chocolade". On the bottom in relief "N.V. CACAO and CHOCOLADE FABRIEK Baronie SCHIEDAM".

Condition
This beautiful cocoa tin is in an original vintage condition with traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of the description.
