De Fabeltjeskrant, Dutch for "The Fables Newspaper" is a Dutch children's television series featuring puppetry and stop motion. Created in 1968  it was broadcast also in the United Kingdom, on ITV, with the title The Daily Fable.

Each episode is based upon fables of Jean de La Fontaine, Aesop, Phaedrus and also by the series' scenographer. The main character, the owl "Meneer de Uil", introduces each episode reading a fable to other characters upon a tree. The scene is a forest inhabited by different anthropomorphic paper animals and the first episode was broadcast on 29 September 1968 on NOS.

Bolletje B.V. was a Dutch company that produces various types of bread substitutes and pastry products until April 2013. In 2013 the company was taken over by the German Borggreve from Neuenhaus.

Gerardus Johannes ter Beek (1843-1933) started a bakery shop at the Grotestraat in Almelo at the end of 1867, in a building that his father Albertus Antonius (1802-1868), who was a bread seller, had just before his death for him purchased. This company would be the start of a family business that would become known under the name Bolletje from the mid-20th century.

Bolletje developed into the country's largest rusk producer, partly thanks to a sophisticated advertising policy by Jan ter Beek with the cooperation of advertising agency De Zuil from Enschede. The company became famous for its advertising slogan: "I want Bolletje!", Later proclaimed the advertising slogan of the twentieth century. In 1962, a collaboration was started with the bakery company Bachman Bakeries, also located in Almelo, which was specialized in producing pretzels.
