Description
Beautiful round brocante biscuit tin with a loose spherical overhanging lid. This biscuit tin is double-walled and both the rim of the tin and the lid are scalloped. The inside of the tin box is made without seams. The outside has a folded seam. Loose closing edge on the lid.

The decoration of this tin consists of a cream-coloured background with watercolour floral motifs in pink and purple. Gold border.

Condition
This tin is in a vintage condition with various traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of the description.

The word "brocante" originally comes from French and literally translates as 'second hand' or 'flea market'. In Dutch, 'brocante' often refers to products with an old and used appearance, such as a brocante old cabinet, table or mirror. Brocante are often old and have a lived-in character.
