Description
Vintage rectangular tin from the seventies with a hinged lid. The hinge is a so-called recessed hanging hinge. The lid and the tin box both have a rolled edge. Furthermore, the tin is manufactured with a so-called folded seam.

The decoration of this tin consists of a background of colored mosaic. The lid also has a multi-colored mosaic depicting an sunfish and the water plant Vallisneria. Gray edges. Marked on the bottom: Patria.

Condition
This beautiful vintage tin is in an original condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of the description.

Pterophyllum Scalare, most commonly referred to as angelfish or freshwater angelfish, is the most common species of Pterophyllum kept in captivity. It is native to the Amazon Basin in Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. Particularly to the Ucayali river in Peru, the Oyapock River in French Guiana, the Essequibo River in Guyana, the Solimões, the Amapá, and the Amazon rivers in Brazil. It is found in swamps or flooded grounds where vegetation is dense and the water is either clear or silty.
