A season or season is an annually recurring period of 3 months. The tropical year of the earth is divided into 4 seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Incidentally, these seasons especially in the temperate to higher latitudes coincide with clearly distinguishable climatic periods. In the tropics it is always summer, or the seasons appear in a completely different way. For example, in ancient Egypt there were only three seasons, and in Indonesia the dry and wet monsoons are known.
The seasons are created by the angle of inclination of the earth's axis relative to the axis of its orbit around the sun.
