Description
This beautiful extra-large Delft Blue wall plate is made by Royal Sphinx Maastricht and Petrus Regout. This was a one-time collaboration. The decorative on the plate consists of a slightly ruffled floral border all around and a centre design in a cobalt blue transferware technique.

The picturesque scene represents an old Dutch river landscape with a frozen pond. Furthermore, a farm, windmill and a Tjalk. In the foreground is a farming family with sledge and skates. The decor is in blue/white and signed at the bottom right by J. Sonneville.

The plate is marked on the back and stamped/marked "Royal Sphinx Maastricht, P. Regout, Delft Blue". This beautiful plate is in good condition and pristine.

Condition
This large wall plate is in excellent condition with no significant traces of use or age-related traces of wear. The photos shown are part of the description.
