In 1930 Verblifa acquired practically all the shares in the Woud & Bekkers Blikfabrieken, which operated under the former name Dordrechtsche Metaalwarenfabriek v/h Wed. J. Bekkers & Son continued as an independent company under Verblifa.

In 1936, together with the Dordrechtsche Metaalwarenfabriek v/h Wed. J. Bekkers & Zoon, established a subsidiary, NV De Vereenigde Automatenfabrieken V.A.F. in Amsterdam. After the war, a large interest was only acquired in the Electro Blikfabriek in Leeuwarden in 1949, and in 1953 the Mij was formed together with this company. was founded in Doesburg to manufacture 'Ducat' heating and cooking appliances. In 1954 Verblifa also started manufacturing plastic articles. At that time, approximately 3450 workers worked in the 8 factories and the head office. Ten years later, in 1964, it still employed approximately 2400 people. At the end of 1964, Thomassen & Drijver-Verblifa arose from a merger of T & D with De Vereenigde Blikfabrieken.
