Shipping and delivery with PostNL

The parcel is delivered by PostNL or one of their partners. Aren't you at home at the time of delivery? Then they try to deliver it as standard to your immediate neighbours. Will this also not work? Then the delivery person will leave a message for you. On this you will find a "not-at-home code": with this code, you can indicate on the same day until 10 p.m. where you want your package delivered the second time.
When do they deliver your package?
Use the track & trace code to track the parcel. That can be done easily online. Are you not home the first time? Then they will make a second attempt the next day or they will deliver it directly to a PostNL location in your area. They will let you know of course.
A missed delivery?
If you are not at home, they first try to deliver the parcel to the neighbours. If this does not work, they will leave a message for you. In most cases, they will try a second time the next working day. It may also be that they deliver the package directly to a PostNL location during the second delivery attempt. They let you know.
Wasn't it possible to deliver your package the second time? Then we will save it for you at a PostNL location near you. You will have two weeks to collect the parcel. After this time the parcel will be returned back to us.
