Nice set of two tins of which one dark green with scalloped edge and the other dark red in a belly model with decoration of a carriage. Both made by DOUWE EGBERTS.
Description drum one

This is a green scalloped tin drum with a separate lid. At the bottom, it is decorated with four legs. This tin is manufactured with a so-called folded longitudinal seam. The legs are pushed into the bottom seam. The decoration consists of a dark green background with scattered floral motifs in pink. On top of the middle of the lid is an oval with people on horseback in a city with a tower and some trees. Golden border.

This is a rectangular shaped tin in a belly model with a hinged transfer lid with handle. This tin has also four legs that are pushed into the bottom edge. The decoration on the lid consists of a dark red surface with a stagecoach with two horses under trees. At the frontside a flower decor. Golden border.
