Description
Original Dutch Brabantia dish warmer or rechaud in a beautiful vintage condition. Rectangular copy with two tea lights and metal grate. Perfect for keeping your meal warm or just for keeping a pot of tea or coffee warm. Two levers on the side, with which you can extinguish the candles by means of a lid when you're done. This rechaud comes in the color purple.

A rechaud is an item to keep dishes with food warm. Characteristic of a rechaud is that it is made so that a pan, plate or bowl can be placed above a heat source. The heat source is often sufficient to keep dishes warm, to reheat dishes, rechauds are not suitable. For household use, rechauds with tea lights are most often used.

Another form of a rechaud is the tea light. This involves a somewhat smaller rechaud that is provided with a tea light, on which a teapot can be placed. The tea light therefore owes the commonly used nickel tealight to this method of use.
