Jamin is a retail chain of confectionery vendors, as well as a former confectionery and ice-cream factory.

In 1870 Cornelis Jamin (1850-1907) opened a chocolate shop in Rotterdam. The case went well and he could expand. In 1880 he started sugar-making factories at the Rodezand and Crooswijksekade, and in 1883 the first Jamin store opened. When Cornelis Jamin died in 1907, there were 50 Jamin stores in and around Rotterdam.

Until the bankruptcy in 1985 the assortment consisted of candy, sugar, nougat, cake, licorice, chocolate articles, packaged ice cream, and pudding. Everything was manufactured, transported and sold in-house.
