This set of romantic vintage tins comes from the 'Cranbourne' series by Worcester ware.
Beautiful set of tins made in England in the 1950s.

Condition
This set of three Worcester Ware tin canisters is in a neat vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear.

Worcester Ware Cranbourne
Flowers have always been a popular theme for Worcester Ware, with their Cranberry rose design, they were a big seller for the more traditional 1950s customer.

The range included the most popular cereal and rice cans to complement the usual canisters for sugar, coffee, tea and flour. Produced in five different sizes that could be nested together. It was not entirely uncommon to produce some tins in a few different sizes. Unlike the regular patterned series, the names of the most luxurious Cranbourne tins were embossed on the lids of the canisters and tins.

The rarest of the Cranbourne range seem to be the small spice tins. As with some of the other series, the tins could be purchased in sets. Some along with a specially made wall-mountable rack.

The cookie jar duos and trios were slightly shallower than the hinged lid tart tins and were designed to slide gracefully on the shelves.
